Drew was recruited for a new job in the same industry that he is currently working in, but with a different company, Shaw Industries, as a distribution sales rep. He made a switch in product- he was selling hard surface flooring and now it's the fuzzy stuff (carpet). It's a good career move for Drew with a reputable company, and better for our family with less overnight travel, lighter workload, and better salary. The only two negatives about him leaving his previous company are 1) no more awesome and amazing trips, (i.e. no more Australia, Europe, or exclusive resorts) however, we may get to sneak in a Hawaii trip every once in a while with his new company, and 2) we will miss his co-workers. We developed lots of friendships with amazing people that we will truly miss! We are feeling very blessed and grateful for this opportunity, and are looking forward to this new experience!
