Sadie has a doll at my mom's house that she loves to play with, and up until now its always been called "baby". But Sadie has recently learned to answer "what's your name, her name, my name, etc.", so the other day we ask Sadie what the baby's (doll) name is....I thought she would say Tessa or Kinsey, (her two baby cousins), but instead she says her baby doll's name is "Teisha", and she still continues to call her baby doll Teisha. She says my name as plain as day, and she knows that's my name, even though she calls me mommy most of the time. At first I think this is really cute, and then I think about and wonder if this is the first sign of insubordination? If so, we've got a long road ahead :)
