We love our baby girl!

Sadie is the cutest baby ever! (of course I may be a little bias.) She learns something new every day thanks to my wonderful babysitters- Mom and Cami Jo. She's 14 mo. old and she knows 3 signs now- more, please, and eat. Not only does she know these signs, but she uses them all the time- She obviously loves to eat :) Sadie loves to make funny faces at people when we're in the store. The clerks always get a big kick out of her- they laugh and then she laughs. Sadie is also getting pretty good at walking. She was taking her first steps at 13 mo. and now she's just starting to get good at it. She loves it when we sing the "monkeys jumping on the bed" song, because she can do the actions. She also makes pretty good animal noises. She knows what a cow, sheep, horse, pig, and lion says. She can say ho, ho, ho, (too bad Christmas is now over- she's still wondering where Santa Clause went), ah oh, all gone, mama, daddy, grandma, kitty, and she loves to wave bye, and blow kisses. She also loves to dance when there's music on...well I'm not sure that I would call it dancing...it looks more like she's having a spaz attack or something, but hopefully she'll grow out of that :) She also loves books. She loves being read to and turning the pages, so hopefully she won't grow out of that. Her hair is finally starting to grow! We're pretty sure she's going to be a blondie.

New Year

Christmas was great. Very busy as always, but lots of fun! Sadie was spoiled rotten by her grandparents :) The only thing Sadie really needed to make her happy was a box and some wrapping paper, and she was entertained for a long time!

We went the the cabin on New Years day with Drew's family. Sadie loved riding the sleigh and snowmobiles with her cousins- Courtlynn and Ty.

We also went sledding at my mom's house with all the snow that had fallen.

Happy December!

What a crazy couple of months! Sadie's first birthday was fantastic! She really put on a show for everyone! She didn't like her cake at first, in fact, she picked it up and threw it off her high chair unto the floor, but she still had some on her finers, which she began to lick and realized that cake isn't so bad :)

Then we went on our Greek Isle Cruise. We went to Venice, Italy; Debrovnik, Croatia; Ephesus, Turkey; Santorini, Greece; and Corfu, Greece. The wheather was perfect the whole time and the sites were amazing!

Happy Halloween and Happy Birthday Sadie!

Today is Sadie's Birthday! Happt 1st Birthday! I'll post pictures from her party later, but for now, here are some Halloween pics! We had so much fun! Although I couldn't help but think that on Halloween last year, I was in the hospital with miserable labor pains (at least until I had the epidural). We thought for sure she was going to be a Halloween baby, just becuase that's exactly what I didn't want, but luckily Sadie managed to hang in there until just after midnight. She didn't want to be a Halloween baby either. Anyways...we carved punpkins at my mom's house earlier this week. Sadie loved it! She kept eating the pumpkin. My mom helped her carve a little Sadie pumpkin with two little bottem teeth...just like Sadie. Drew's family had a party earlier in the week, and we all dressed up. Drew was a garilla, I was an Indian, and of course Sadie was in her butterfly costume. Sadie did not know what to think of Drew's costume...she didn't cry or scream, she was just frozen, and wouldn't move or do anything. When Drew took off his costume, I handed Sadie to him and she just hugged and hugged and hugged him and would not let go of him...(she never does that) it was like she was so glad to have her dad back and glad that the crazy creature was gone! Pretty fun stuff....enjoy the pics!

Sorry it's been awhile (like two months!) Okay, so where to begin....Weston is doing awesome in California. He's in the boonies. (I didn't know that existed in California, but apparently it does.) He's encountered a black bear, an elk, and was attacked by a wild turkey! Weston said he had to swing his backpack at the turkey to get it to go away. How funny! But really, he's doing great! Not too many people are interested in the church so he does have some challenges, but he's enduring! Anyways....lets talk about Sadie! Still not much hair, but we're pretty sure she's going to be a blondie. (in the hair color sense, although sometimes I wonder...she can be quite the goofball.) She's not walking yet, but I believe she's on the verge. She can pretty much stand by herself and she pushes her walker everywhere. I can't believe she'll be one on November 1.

Here are some pictures of us in California this summer.....

Cami Jo, Weston, Me and Sadie. Drew is missing...He decided to go on a bear hunt instead. Now we have two black bears that are being "mounted". What am I suppose to do with them??? Anyway...that's a different story.

I did what they call "bag a deer" last weekend. Drew was so proud of me! Please ignore the stupid orange hat. If I'd known I looked that dorky, I would have taken it off. It's all part of the experience I guess! It's just a little two point. I shot the first thing we saw...well, kind of....we actually saw two bucks before this one, but I'm a little slow at getting my aim just right and by the time I was "situated" they were gone. Drew and I had a blast that weekend together!

The Field is White

My baby brother is all grown up! He entered the MTC on August 13, and he will be serving in the Santa Rosa, California mission (lucky for my mother- he's not too far away!) We are really going to miss him, but he's excited to be serving and sharing the Gospel with others.

Sadie

Okay people...I finally have a blog set up! So here's my first entry and of course it's about none other than Sadie! She loves her bath time- she screams when she's excited and that's what she's doing here! I'm drenched from head to toe by the time she's done! Sadie is now 9 months old- Her head is in the 90%. Big head, no hair- I really wish that she would grow some hair so we can see what color it's going to be. There's so many possibilities! Drew is still claiming it's red, but I'm thinking it's going to be blond. Maybe if her head stopped growing so fast, then it would allow time for her hair to catch up! Height- 50% and Weight- 75%. She isn't crawling yet, but she wants to so bad, she just can't quite figure it out!
